Mr. Hanson's Art Classes

Graphic Design 1

This course will introduce students to various approaches to graphic design. Students will become familiar with digital design in illustration, product/logo design, animation, typography, and design with Photoshop and Illustrator. Elements and principles of design such as color theory and composition will be incorporated into student projects.

Graphic Design 2

Graphic Design 2 is a continuation of Graphic Design 1 and designed for students wanting in-depth exposure to and study of the software programs and different forms of visual communication. Students will receive in-depth exposure to digital design.

Digital Design and Animation

This is a course where students will become familiar with advanced hardware and software in media design applications. Areas that students can explore are: digital film making and audio editing, digital photography, animation, and 3D modeling design with 3D programs. Students need to have a solid understanding of technology and be able to work independently. This course is designed for a student to take more than one time.
