Adobe Animate 2021

Adobe Animate is a program designed for 2D animation. It is great for learning the concepts of animation and economies that help you animate quicker and more efficiently.

1. Animate Tutorials

Adobe has some built in hands on tutorials. These can be accessed in Adobe Animate by going to the Help Menu and drop the the Hands-On Tutorial list.

3. Import Photoshop Assets

You can create assets in Photoshop and put them into action using Animate. Follow this playlist series to learn the process.

4. Import Illustrator Files

You can draw a character in Adobe Illustrator and import the character onto separate layers. Follow this tutorial if you want to create a character in Illustrator and import it into Animate.

5. Character Rigging

Character Rigging is connecting your drawn character to a rig. This will alllow you to animate your character after you link it to a rig.

6. Frame by Frame

Animating Frame by Frame in Animate is not the most efficient way to animate but closer to traditional methods of animation.
